The Original Nasi Kandar (Part IV). The tour for the real nasi kandar continues... This time, I overslept & didn't wake up early, but luckily my father was aware about my nasi kandar addiction. So, he brought back few 'bungkus' from a stall once famous for it's nasi kandar.
The Line Clear, located in the heart of Penang Road. Open 24 hours. To be strategic, it is in a small lorong between shophouses, just after the junction joining Chulia Street & Penang Road. And to make its survival tougher, Line Clear is today at the opposite of a commercialize nasi kandar restaurant, D'Kayu.
Eventhough I only ate Line Clear nasi kandar (bungkus) at home, I still enjoyed it bcoz the curry has completely mixed with the rice. In malay, "kari & nasi dah sebati". For some people, they'll love it this way. The period from the moment my nasi kandar was wrapped, till the time I ate it, makes perfect mixture between rice & curry. But my wife dont really like it as she said,"nasi dah kembang..."
