The Roti Canai

Ayoyo... Mahal lah....

There is a good cook in my office, Kak Mas. She makes wonderful mee goreng. But, I am not going to tell you about her mee goreng. I just want to tell about a good roti canai that she recommended to me. Of course I was bias to her suggestion because I knew her as a good cook.

So, I drove to the Craven Café last Sunday morning just to try the Roti Canai. She was right as I really appreciated it. The Roti Canai was good, not too oily and delicious too. You can eat it just like that, or with some curry or dal.

Craven Café is located behind a Petronas Station in Ampang. To be clearer, it is on your right if you are heading to Kelab Darul Ehsan, Ampang. It was a really comfortable place for me to read the newspaper over my Sunday breakfast there.

However, despite the good taste, the food was a little bit more expensive than others. The Roti Canai is RM1.00 each and the most shocking thing was my Teh-O, it cost me RM2.00 per glass. I don’t know if they have calculated it wrongly, but just look at the receipt attached.

Afterall, I did enjoy the Roti Canai in a very peaceful surrounding.
